Thrush (Candida)

Most common oral fungal (yeast) infection. May be present on a small area or covering much of the oral tissue and may become [[594436|painful]]. Characterized by a white patch (blue arrow). Most commonly found on the check and tongue. Usually found on people with suppressed immune systems or those taking antibiotics for an extended period of time.
